Good evening,
So I start the post relating to the future major renovation of the Cazeneuve sold on the forum.
Short walk yesterday in the Paris region to pick it up, loading without incident.
The monster arrived at my place today, it is posed in front of the workshop for the moment. I will grease it and cover it while waiting for the work.
The lathe suffered, besides the engine problems, from storage outside for a while and from poor handling at the time (end foot a little) broken. But on the other hand it was used extremely little, no play and the slides near the chuck seem new.
So work, but which seems largely deserved.
Well, all this will be done in a few months, I have other urgent projects to finish before.
Predictable:
Motor rewinding
Repair of the clutches (Find out how it was fitted, since everything is loose in crates, but it will be fine ...)
Changing gearbox bearings
Repair of the broken end foot, or graft of another foot, to see.
New electricity on a cabinet placed at the back of the machine.
Complete painting.
Manufacture of a second chip tray, the first having been scrapped.
